Service Engineer

Service engineers are the backbone of our industry and we are always looking to recruit, whether you are recently qualified, employed as an engineer in a similar industry (automotive, Aeronautic etc) or possibly looking for a change of job direction we’d like to hear from you.

  • What qualities do I need to become a Service Engineer within the CLAAS dealer network?
    • Organise your own work, taking responsibility for a job right through from initial diagnosis, managing the customer, and working with your team to get the job done as efficiently and professionally as possible.
    • Enjoy using a laptop just as much as getting your hands dirty to get a job done 
    • Learn to use specialist tools to diagnose problems and trouble shoot
    • Enjoy the fact that no 2 jobs are ever the same – at CLAAS we have a variety of manufacturers engines for example, Mercedes//Perkins/CAT/Fiat/JD 
    • Embrace wearing several different hats all in days work, from customer relations officer to to skilled technician  
    • Work with state-of-the-art technology associated with other key industries today such as aerospace and automotive industries, GPS, Telematics and Laser Pilot for example
