LINER swathers

Runs like clockwork.

From the wide range of CLAAS swathers, farmers and contractors will find the right LINER to match the field clearance machines listed below.

CLAAS forage harvesting | LINER swathers – the benefits for you.

  • Exclusive to CLAAS: continuously lubricated and hermetically sealed swathing drive
  • PROFIX tine arm bracket: zero play and wear-resistant
  • Three-dimensional ground-contour following, thanks to the fully floating suspension
  • Transport height reduced to below 4.00 metres without needing to remove individual tine arms

The new trailed floating suspension.

Because we know how important it is to have clean forage, and because the terrain is often hilly, the trailed fully floating rotor suspension in the new LINER 1700 and LINER 1600/1600 TWIN now ensures an amazingly clean result. The suspension enables a longitudinal and sideways oscillation with a maximum oscillation angle that is independent of the chassis. This means that the rotors can adjust themselves even to larger bumps. The new LINER generation thus achieves an optimal swath result – any time, anywhere.

Forage quality as a measure of success. High-quality forage is the key to success. After choosing the best time for harvesting, correct handling of the harvest is essential. This starts with the ground-contour following, because our farmers can achieve their targets only if the harvesting machines are working perfectly:

  • Clean, high-quality forage and, as a result, sustainably healthy and productive animals
  • Protection of the grass cover, and thus also maintaining a valuable diversity of grass and herb species in the stand

LINER swathers

Simply drive off without leaving the cab.

The main frame and rotors can be hydraulically lowered, reducing the transport height to below 4.00 metres.

Runs like clockwork.

The continuously lubricated, hermetically sealed CLAAS rotor housing and the solid curved track made of spheroidal graphite ensure maximum operating reliability and robustness.
